Dr. Gore Hayer

Dr. Gore Hayer, RPh, is a licensed pharmacist with a well-rounded background in pharmaceutical care and policy development. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Microbial Biology with a Minor in Chemistry from CSU Stanislaus, where he was the speaker of his class. He went on to complete his Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of the Pacific (UOP), achieving membership in the Rho Chi and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies, placing him in the top 20% of his pharmacy class and the top 5% of all UOP graduates.

Gore’s professional experience spans various sectors, including pharmaceutical manufacturing, long-term care, and retail pharmacy. He has also been instrumental in authoring pharmacy policies for a hospital, particularly for its chemo compounding center, developed in collaboration with the Stanford Cancer Center. His additional training includes the ASHP Compounded Sterile Preparations certification and participation in UOP’s Entrepreneurial Pharmacy Practice Program.

Raised in Turlock, CA, Gore gained early business and healthcare experience working in his family’s businesses. He assisted in managing his father’s jewelry store, where he learned the art of luxury client care, and worked at his mother’s long-term care facility, honing his skills in patient care and facility management.

Outside of his professional life, Gore enjoys tennis, hiking, and maintaining an active lifestyle at the gym.

Dr. Sandhu

Sukhwinder Sandhu, MD was raised in Union City. After graduating from Logan High School, he attended the University of California, Berkeley, where he received his Bachelor's in Physiology and his Master’s in Anatomy. These degrees enhance his medical knowledge by giving him a better understanding of how the body works. He received his Medical Degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin, completed his Residency training at the University of California, Davis, and Fellowship training at Stanford University.

He has been in private practice in Fremont for over 25 years. He is Board Certified in Gastroenterology, Internal Medicine, and Hospice Medicine.

Dr. Sandhu has served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at both Stanford University and Samuel Merritt University. He has received many awards and accolades, including ABI Man of the Year and Best Doctors in America – Pacific Region.

Dr. Gary Basrai

Gary Basrai, RPh Pharm D was born in Punjab, India and immigrated to the United States at the age of 17. He attended the University of Pacific and graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree in 1977. In 1979, he was fortunate enough to purchase his first pharmacy in Fremont. His career in pharmacy spanned over 40 years where he expanded his ownership of independent pharmacies from Salinas, CA to Portland, Oregon with 4 locations in the Fremont/Newark areas and 2 in Gilroy.

He was a staunch advocate of the role of pharmacists in patient care. He was one of the first pharmacists to offer immunizations at the pharmacy. In addition, he offered innovative services in Compounding, Long Term Care and Durable Medical Equipment. Gary and his wife Jean raised 3 children in Fremont, all of whom are working in the family business. He has 5 grandchildren that he dotes on. Gary is now semi-retired and enjoys his time playing golf.

Fun fact: Gary is a farming pharmacist who grows crops of almonds, cherries, and walnuts.
